Four colorful lithographic pages from the Allen & Ginter N28 and N29 album each featuring boxers. Included are pages featuring Charlie Mitchell John L. Sullivan Jack McAuliffe and Jimmy Carney; Jake Kilrain Joe Lannon Jem Smith and Ike Weir; Billy Edwards Jack McGee Johnny Murphy and Geo-La Blanche; and Frank Murphy Patsey Duffy Patsey Kerrigan and Jack Havlin. All four pages are extraordinarily colorful and ornate but all exhibit significant signs of wear. The punch holes in the N29 booklet are torn or severely worn with some wear and staining at the edges. The N28 pages appear more attractive but the page containing the Sullivan image does suffer from a stain on the reverse likely some sort of ink. The photo albums from the Allen & Ginter sets are rare and desirable very attractive display pieces that have generated significant collector value.
