The 1953 Canadian Exhibit issue is an interesting one, containing a blend of major and minor league players (the Montreal Royals of the International League) produced in much smaller quantities than the American Exhibit sets, and issued only in Canada. Issued in two series of 32 cards each, the major league player cards were made with images reused from past Exhibit cards and are featured in the first series, in purple and green tints. Presented here is an extraordinary high-grade example of Jackie Robinson's card, a purple-tint example with sharp corners and edges, and a clear image, graded NM 7 by SGC. An outstanding high-grade specimen of one of the issue's key cards.
