Beginning in 1928, the Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago changed the format of its baseball cards, electing to include four players on each card - each of the four players being teammates.  This practice would continue for the entire decade.  The "four-on-one" cards would be printed in a wide range of color combinations of black, brown and blue ink on blue, orange, green, red, white and yellow backgrounds.  Most backs remained uncolored, however, in some rare occasions cards have been found with red or yellow backs.  The 1929-30 issue contained 32 different cards, with postcard backs.

Red-tinted example featuring Hall of Famer Heinie Manush, with St. Louis teammates Wally Schang, Sam Gray and Red Kress.  The card has been graded FAIR 1.5 due to overall wear, though the primary issues relate to ink marks and light writing on the reverse, none of which detract from the eye appeal at the card front.  Card front suffers from corner and light surface wear, along with a little edge chipping.
