Topps came out with a gorgeous set of 66 Super cards in 1969, with full color photos and rounded corners, as they continued to unleash sets upon the country. A large supply of these were lost in a fire at Card Collectors Company in 1975, stymying supply of a set that has remained popular its entire life. The pose is familiar as Topps used it on several 1969 issues but these were designed to special cards and you can see why on this Mint PSA 9 Clemente, with it's deep color and otherworldly gloss. The reverse has the tasty, creamy period tone you expect.
