O-Pee-Chee was the Canadian trade and retail partner of Topps, beginning in 1958.  In 1965 they started issuing the current year's Topps cards in Canada, usually only bothering to issue part of the set, in this case the first 283 cards. Much, much harder to find than the U.S. cards, this inaugural issue was of particularly low production, not surprising given Canada has about 10% of the population found in the United States. This PSA NM 7 Clemente is bright, with a strong image on front.  The reverse has a pleasant blue coloring, a little lighter than the U.S. version and showcases the different stock used for Canadian production.
