Beautifully preserved October 4 1948 edition of Time magazine featuring Yankee Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio on the cover. In apparent EX/MT condition the publication displays extraordinarily well with faint print roller lines near the left and right borders and very mild wear and tear to the surface edges and spine. The reverse of the magazine features the faint purple print lines of the subscriber's address applied carefully so as not to interfere with the colorful Chesterfield Cigarettes ad. Equally carefully applied is the Yankee Clipper's signature neatly written diagonally in blue Sharpie in a manner that only enhances the publication's eye appeal. Authenticated by JSA Authentication the publication makes for one of the more attractive DiMaggio displays we have seen capturing the Yankee slugger nearing the end of his Hall of Fame career.
