Dodgers workhorse Drysdale was coming off a Cy Young season in 1962 (when only one such award was granted across both leagues), which may explain his happy visage on this stunning 8.5 1963 Exhibit stat back card. The fearless Hall-of-Fame righthander has never looked better and there are only two higher graded examples (of thirty) in the PSA database.  The corners are as sharp as Double-D's curveball and the cut is impeccable, just like his control.
