The image of Jim Thorpe seen here graced well over a half dozen different issues in several differing dimensions, emanating from several manufacturers thanks to his appearance in a Universal Studios serial titled "Battling with Buffalo Bill" which presented him, quite embarrassingly, as Chief Swift Arrow.  Thorpe remains a popular and highly-collected athlete/celebrity and this SGC 1.5 1931 Exhibit card features a Post Card reverse, where someone has made a small, colorful doodle. The front image is in pretty good shape and has a sharp image set against a garish green backdrop.
