Tough card of Hall of Fame third baseman from the 1928 Tharp's Ice Cream issue, one of the more scarce of the 1928 ice cream-related sets.  Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by SGC, the card shows some surface staining, moderate with little impact on the eye appeal of the card.  Given that the cards were distributed with ice cream, condition is always a challenge, and this well-centered, attractive example does appear stronger than the technically accurate grade.
