Produced by the George Close Candy company of Cambridge, Massachussetts, the issue we refer to as "E94" was actually issued with at least ten different overprints, as well as the standard checklist on the reverse.  Front images were also produced with seven different background colors.  The result has been a very interesting - and scarce - issue, with many combinations and permutations creating a high degree of collectibility.  The highest-graded example of Tommy Leach's card from the set (two other examples have attained the same grade with none higher), the card is sharp and clean, with a rich, red background.  Centering is slightly off, likely keeping the card from a higher grade.  High-grade cards from this era are rare; this is one example that is quite beautiful.
