Exceptional team postcard featuring the 1906 Chicago White Sox team. Includes owner Charles Comiskey Hall of Fame pitcher Ed Walsh and popular pitcher Nick Altrock. Postally used on October 4 1906 the day the White Sox beat Cleveland to secure the American League pennant a gloating message written on the front: "What do you think of your uncle's team now?" Sports are fun that way. Fans have been doing it for more than a century. Graded POOR 10 by SGC (and mislabeled as a 1907 postcard) the card has obvious postal use as well as general wear to the edges corners and surface. An interesting and fun postcard.
