Attractive unofficial advertising scorecard for the 1916 World Series, featuring the 1915 World Champion Boston Red Sox along with their young pitcher, Babe Ruth, and the Brooklyn Robins. Folded to 7" x 5 1/2", the 14" x 5 1/2" piece features a scorecard printed on the interior so fans could score a game. Inset images of managers Bill Carrigan and Wilbert Robinson appear on the interior pages along with league stats. The reverse features inset images of the members of both teams, along with more historical stats and an advertisement for a tailoring company based in Chicago. The piece displays well, folded right down the middle as intended. Uneven toning on the reverse creates some discoloration to the piece, which is clean and unsecured. The interior is clean. VG/EX condition.
