A five-game blowout for the Boston Red Sox, the 1915 World Series has the historical significance of being the first for young Babe Ruth, who despite winning 18 regular-season games for the club did not pitch in any of the five games.  Philadelphia won the first game (coincidentally the only one in which Ruth appeared, as a 9th inning pinch hitter), but Boston swept the next four, winning the Series in the fifth game.

Presented here is a ticket stub from that game, the deciding game of the 1915 World Series, the first of 7 championships for the Babe.  The stub has been graded 1 (MK) by PSA, but it is not the grade but the scarcity of the stub that is important here - PSA has assessed just eight stubs from this game.  Significant wear is obviously evident, along with writing on the reverse that documents the game score and significance of the stub.  An outstanding artifact, a stub from Babe Ruth's very first World Series championship, the third title in Boston history.
