Goudey also got in on the 4-on-1 value action in 1935, with a puzzle back set produced in a myriad of combinations. 36 different fronts were issued, using recycled images from their two prior baseball sets with each reverse featuring anywhere between 2 and 4 pieces of a certain puzzle, making for a 114 subject master set!  One of the Boston Braves fronts features Babe Ruth and he shares this card with another Hall-of-Famer in Rabbit Maranville.  This card, dubbed 3A, has a nice puzzle piece shot of Frankie Frisch on the reverse in a kind of double serendipity. Corner wear is the underlying culprit here, with the image of Ruth presenting in fine, unhindered shape; the rest of the images are similar, save for some minor dirtying on Maranville. PSA has confusingly co-mingled their pop report for this set but the numbers don't lie, this is an extremely high demand card and one of the very few to feature Ruth with the Braves.
