TCMA, a well-known company founded and run by two collectors, Tom Collier and Mike Aronstein, issued several dozen sets over many years of what are now termed "collector issues" featuring ball players from the past. They specialized in team-oriented sets which were (and remain) popular, and featured many Hall-of-Famers. HRT/RES was another collector-founded card issuer that specialized in reprints and sets that "never were" and often featured obscure players.  These were distributed at the legendary Philly Shows of the late 1970's, which the principals also promoted.

This group of seven TCMA and HRT/RES cards brings together four Hall-of-Famers (over 6 cards) and an obscure Red Sox pitcher, all with an extremely strong autographs and all PSA/DNA graded.  Not many of these specific cards have been autographed over the years, in fact five of these are unique examples in the PSA/DNA pop report, with only the 1974 and 1975 All Time Greats cards of Rizzuto and Gehringer having one additional example authenticated. The signatures on all seven are superb and this is a nice, sharp brace of classic players and signatures.
