Original 5" x 7" Goodwin & Co. glass plate negative emanating from the "Vermont Find." Left fielder Peek-A-Boo Veach is depicted in an athletic pose with the 1888 St. Paul Apostles of the Western Association. This image served as the source material for Veach's N172 Old Judge card numbered 472.5-4. Image is slightly out of focus and a large portion of the upper-left corner has broken away. Several small areas where emulsion has chipped away are present throughout and these areas present themselves as dark spots in the positive image. There is also an area just above the "base" to the top of Veach's left knee where the emulsion is gently peeling away from the glass.
