Collection of seven Type 1 photos in 5" x 7" and 6.5" x 8.5" formats featuring the Brooklyn Robins, all of which served as source images for baseball cards in the early 1920's (cards shown for illustration purposes only and are not included). Group includes: Leon Cadore, Tom Griffith, Jimmy Johnston, Al Mamaux, Dutch Ruether (all E120), Tommy Griffith (E220), Pete Kilduff (V100). There is some minor waviness to the top and bottom edges which is typical for news service photos of the era. Dutch Ruether's example does display pinholes throughout the white border and a small stain at the top. Jimmy Johnston is missing a large piece of the lower right corner but the central image is not impacted. Verso of all photos remain quite clean but remnants of paper tags and pencil notations are present. These photos are fresh to the hobby and originate from the archives of Photo File, Inc. where they have been stored for several decades until this offering.
