Goudey may have been short on card counts in many of their mid to late 30's sets but they sure made up for it with premium offers. The "Wide Pen" premiums were available from 1936-27 and five different types exist, this one being a Type 4. Printed on a creamy stock more akin to paper than cardboard, these are fragile things and this is one heckuva nice SGC 3.5. Evenly toned, some "ghostly fingerprints" on the reverse seemingly have contributed to the grade.
