Colorful, tough 1969 Topps Team Poster of the soon-to-be powerhouse Oakland Athletics. Issued as a standalone set, so many of these were tacked up to a bedroom wall then ripped down some time later. These are on thicker paper than the Player Poster set issued by Topps a year earlier and the color is stupendous, as is the size as they measure 12 x 20 inches unfurled. Two Hall-of-Famers grace this poster, with Catfish Hunter hard right in the third row and Reggie Jackson, in his his third major league season already, gracing the lower left corner.  The posters had to be folded several times to fit in their packs and this one has the tiniest bit of pressure creases at each end of the middle, horizontal fold line and is intact at the central junction in the middle of the team name. Not often seen in such fine shape, this is a stellar example of this now 53-year-old poster.
