Talk about some great cereal box-back reading! A format change from a single, large card in 1960 to the familiar look seen here for 1961 did the trick for Post and this is the first of a three-year run of standard-sized cards that's quite popular with collectors today. This six subject panel that was once an integral part of an 11 oz. box of Bran Flakes (yum!) started out with an expert cut back in the day. With ample borders surrounding the cards and appealing player photos and color predominating, this "six pack" has been well preserved since it left the grocery store aisle. Hall-of-Famer Nellie Fox holds down the bottom left corner and five household names from six decades ago complete the piece. Condition front and back is superlative, with only some corner chips and crinkles that are all situated well away from the cards present. Post panels are tough to come by, especially when they are as nice as this one.
