1947 Remar Bread Oakland Oaks card of Hall of Famer Casey Stengel, then beginning the managerial run that would lead him to the Hall of Fame. Having managed eight years in the majors, Stengel managed for two years in the American Association and three years with Oakland in the PCL before moving back to the majors as manager of the Yankees, where he would remain from 1949 through 1960. The card is in poor condition with significant staining, and has been signed by Stengel vertically across his image, in dark ink which has faded somewhat with time. Still, it is difficult to obtain Stengel's signature on any card, much less a seldom-seen PCL issue. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
