While uncut strips from the W517 issue do find their way into the hobby occasionally, examples that feature either of the issue's two cards of Babe Ruth have been elusive.  This is a beautiful example, in outstanding condition with some minor wear to the corners (more pronounced at the top), and very little wear to the Ruth "Throwing" pose card in the center.  The cards are reasonably well-centered from left-to-right, and the centering of the Ruth card nearly perfect, perhaps a tiny bit north, though not enough to distract in any way.  Some very minor surface wear is evident, along with some minor abrasions on the reverse.  The W517 issue is often considered the most attractive and desirable of all the strip card issues, and is certainly among the highest quality.  The Babe Ruth cards from the issue are the most desirable, very rarely seen in uncut form like this.  While we have handled a strip with the Ruth portrait card from this issue, that particular card is located at the bottom of the strip and is thus subject to corner wear.  In this case, Ruth is located in the center, the perforations allowing for near-perfect centering, and exhibiting very little wear, yielding a high-grade example.  Remarkably well-preserved, completely intact at the perforations.
