The National League pennant race came close to the wire in 1939, the Cincinnati Reds ultimately finishing 4.5 games ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals.  The outcome was uncertain enough that the Cardinals organization needed to make postseason plans, hence this phantom ticket to a Game 5 in St. Louis that never happened - Game 5, in fact, didn't happen at all, as the Yankees swept Cincinnati in four.  An interesting souvenir, this full ticket appears in EX condition, with little wear at the corners and edges.
