Full 3rd base field box ticket for the opening game of the 1948 World Series between the Boston Braves and Cleveland Indians, at Braves Field.  A fantastic game, Johnny Sain and Bob Feller faced off in a scoreless tie until the bottom of the eighth when the Braves played "small ball" to score a run.  The inning also featured one of the classic "out or safe?" plays debated for decades, when Feller attempted to pick off Phil Masi at second base.  Umpire Bill Stewart called Masi safe, though many believe he was out, and Masi scored the game's only run on a single by Tommy Holmes.

The ticket is beautiful, appearing VG/EX with some corner wear, though some staining on the reverse reduces the technical grade somewhat.
