Gorgeous example for the grade, well-centered with thick, rich black lines and strong detail. Attractive horizontal card pictures the Yankee catcher wearing the "tools of ignorance," about to return a thrown ball. The grade of 4.5 assessed by SGC addresses corner wear and perhaps a slight bit of surface wear, but the card is quite pleasing for the grade.
