Extraordinary early card of one of the most colorful and memorable characters in the history of the game, Casey Stengel, smiling cheerfully at the camera.  As a player, Stengel was above average, hitting .284 over a 14-year career with a .356 lifetime On Base Percentage.  It was as a manager, however, that Stengel gained his notoriety, learning his craft from John McGraw and applying it to win multiple pennants with the Yankees in their golden era.  This example has been graded GOOD 2 (MK) by PSA with some visible wear and light creasing, the qualifier related to some very light pencil writing on the upper-right corner of the reverse.
