Gorgeous example of the Babe Ruth "throwing" card from the 54-card strip issue dated to 1931.  The issue actually featured two Ruth cards (#4 and #20, both featured in this auction) as well as two cards of Mickey Cochrane, and the cards could be found with various ink tints, as well as smaller-sized versions.  All told, the set packs quite a bit of star power, as 60% of its subjects wound up in the Hall of Fame.  This is a higher-grade specimen, graded EX-MT 6 by PSA with a slight centering issue, but sharp corners and edges, and strong image clarity.
