Sharp postcard-back Exhibit card of Ty Cobb, issued near the close of his Hall of Fame career, certainly in 1927 or later since the card art has been updated to reflect Cobb's becoming a member of the Philadelphia Athletics. The card is beautiful, taking a slightly purplish tone, with sharp corners and edges. The downgrade, as far as we can see, is a result of the centering on the card reverse, as the corners and edges appear NM and the surface is relatively unblemished. A seldom-seen card, the highest-graded example of the 26 specimens graded by either PSA or DNA, the only example at the 5.5 plateau.
