Exceptional portrait card of Walter Johnson, one of the most popular in the issue and also one of the most popular of all Johnson's cards.  A beautiful image, extremely well-centered with very light corner wear, the card would not seem out of place in a higher holder, though a couple of small edge chips along the left edge are likely responsible for keeping the card from an EX assessment.  The brightly-colored background practically glows, the detail in the image simply wonderful.  An outstanding card.
