Extremely interesting card of Tris Speaker from the T205 Gold Border issue.  Speaker's card is typically found with a rich, red background framing the blue image area.  In this case, the background is clearly orange.  We hesitate to say that the card is either faded or missing a color pass, since the remaining color on the card, including the gold leaf border and blue image area, remains quite strong.  Yet there is clearly an issue with the traditionally red background of the card.  Otherwise, the card is centered well, with light wear at the corners, a pronounced ding visible at the bottom right corner.  The reverse and overall image area remains clean.  An interesting card.
