The 1922 Wm. Paterson issue is a 50-card set believed to be a premium issued by a Canadian candy company.  Loaded with Hall of Famers, the cards are quite attractive, either black and white or sepia-toned, featuring a photographic image of the player along with name and team information, and an unobtrusive advertising line printed at the bottom.  The backs are blank.  This example is clean, well-centered, with a very strong black-and-white image.  Corner wear is light but visible, with a very light bit of surface soiling near the upper part of the left edge.  A tough card type.
