Beautiful midgrade example of one of the most important cards of the era, the posthumous card of Addie Joss from the T205 set.  Joss was universally liked and respected, and his passing in early 1911 from tuberculosis meningitis shook the league.  His life is commemorated on the reverse of this card, which is now considered one of the keys to the beautiful T205 issue.  Slightly off-center, with light chipping and wear at the corners, otherwise a beautiful card, worthy of the grade.
