The black borders of the 1895 N300 Mayo's Cut Plug cards, like most other black-bordered cards, are particularly condition-sensitive and subject to chipping.  Such is the case with this example featuring Bill Joyce, graded GOOD 2 by SGC due in part to a heavier chip along the top edge, and in part due to some minor paper loss on the reverse, a likely result of scrapbook removal.  Despite these flaws, the card is remarkably sharp for the grade, the image clean and clear, corners square.
