Spending virtually his entire career with the Chicago White Stockings teams that won five pennants during his 11 years there, infield Ned Williamson clubbed 27 home runs in 1884 (and never anywhere close before or after, clearly should've been tested for PEDs). Williamson's 27 home runs remained a major league record until it was broken by Babe Ruth in 1919. The card has clearly had the tobacco brands trimmed from both the top and bottom of the card, reducing its technical grade and making it ineligible for grading, as it was returned by SGC.
