Sharp Charles Conlon 8" x 10" photo featuring pitcher Fred Blanding tossing in the outfield with the Cleveland Naps. Blanding spent the entirety of his career with the Naps from 1910-14. This image was captured sometime between the start of Blanding's career in 1910 and the final season of Hilltop Park in 1912 before the Highlanders joined the Giants at the Polo Grounds. Some chipping, pinholes, and small tears are present along the edges of this photo with a small piece missing from the lower left corner. A larger piece is missing from the lower right corner. Verso includes Conlon's handwritten identification of Blanding along with Conlon's personal stamping. Photo is fresh to the hobby and originates from the archives of Photo File, Inc. where it has been stored for several decades until this offering.
