Attractive collector-grade 1914 Cracker Jack card featuring Hall of Fame catcher Ray Schalk, graded GOOD 2 by PSA. The primary issues reducing the technical grade of the card are largely restricted to the reverse, in the form of staining, both the caramel staining ubiquitous with Cracker Jack cards, and some additional staining on the card reverse. Visual appeal on the card front is that of a higher-grade, a colorful and bright specimen with just minor staining showing through in the cream-colored borders. While Schalk was featured in the 1909-13 M101-2 Sporting News supplement issue, as long as the discussion continues as to what constitutes a "card," this is considered by many to be the rookie card of the Hall of Fame catcher.
