Near-complete, midgrade 1958 Topps set. While many of the cards exhibit telltale signs of handling in the form of light corner and edge wear, the primary condition flaws throughout the set relate to centering, a well-known issue with Topps cards of the era.  Technical grades would be 1% EX/MT, 12% EX, 23% VG/EX, 44% VG, 18% GOOD and 2% lesser.  The cards are largely bright and colorful, an outstanding early Topps set.

We selected six key cards to submit to PSA for grading.  The results were: #5 Mays (PSA EX 5), #30 Aaron (PSA EX/MT 6), #150 Mantle (PSA VG/EX 4), #187 Koufax (PSA VG/EX 4), #304 Kuenn/Kaline (PSA NM 7) and #310 Banks (PSA EX/MT+ 6.5).  The remaining keys would grade #1 Williams (G), #2 Lemon (G), #25 Drysdale (VG), #40 Kell (VG), #52 Clemente (F due to miscut), #70 Kaline (VG), #85 Aparicio (VG), #88 Snider (VG), #90 Roberts (VG/EX), #115 Bunning (EX), #230 Ashburn (EX), #238 Mazeroski (VG/EX), #270 Spahn (G), #285 Robinson (VG/EX), #288 Killebrew (G due to miscut), #307 Robinson (VG), #320 Ford (EX), #343 Cepeda VG), #370 Berra (EX), #375 Reese (EX), #400 Fox (VG/EX), #418 Mantle/Aaron (G), #436 Mays/Snider (VG), #440 Mathews (VG/EX), #482 Banks AS (EX+), #484 Robinson AS (EX), #485 Williams AS (VG), #486 Mays AS (VG), #487 Mantle AS (G), #488 Aaron AS 1.  The set is missing just two cards for completion: #47 Roger Maris (RC) and #428 Cincinnati Reds team.  A very strong near-complete set.  492 cards total.
