Tremendous example of one of the most important and widely-collected sets of the 1950s.  Grades 2% NM, 12% EX/MT, 28% EX, 42% VG/EX, 15% VG, and a few lesser.  This set was carefully assembled by a dedicated collector who had a keen eye for quality, the majority of the condition issues of this set relate either to the centering issues typical of this set or to light signs of handling.  The set's two keys, Mantle and Mays, grade slightly lesser than the rest of the set, though the eye appeal of even the lesser-condition cards is quite remarkable.  We selected 18 cards for submission to PSA, which graded as follows:
