Between 1964 and at least 1966, one 8" x 9 1/2" full-color "premium" photo  was sold with each baseball glove box sold by Rawlings.  The photos were advertised on the outside of the boxes, and pictured each player posing with his Rawlings glove visible in the photo, even when posed with a bat (noteworthy is the photo of Ken Boyer, somehow juggling both his bat and his Rawlings glove, as he poses on one knee.  At some point during the production run, new photos of Boyer (with the Mets), Mickey Mantle and Brooks Robinson were introduced, creating three variations among the set's nine subjects.  The photos are gorgeous, but due to their size and method of distribution, are particularly condition-sensitive.  Presented here is a complete, PSA-Graded set, one of the only complete graded sets known, and the only complete set on the PSA Set Registry.

Despite the technical grades, each example presents extremely well.  Grades are as follows: PSA VG-EX+ 4.5 (1 card): Mantle (HOF - No Undershirt).  PSA VG-EX 4 (1 card): Davis.  PSA VG 3 (2 cards): Groat (only graded example), Spahn (HOF - only graded example).  PSA GOOD+ 2.5 (2 cards): White (only graded example), B. Williams (HOF).  PSA GOOD 2 (4 cards): Boyer (Cardinals), Boyer (Mets - only graded example), Brooks Robinson (HOF - Full Bird Cap), Tresh.  PSA PR 1 (2 cards): Mantle (HOF - black undershirt), Robinson (HOF - bird's head cap).  A beautiful, complete set, seldom-seen in the hobby, each graded by PSA.  12 cards total.
