Outstanding display box that once housed Turkish Trophies brand cigarettes, associated with the S81 Silk issue.  The blue tax stamp dated March 2, 1901 along with the factory, district and state (Factory 7, 3rd district, State of NY) imply that the pack likely contained an S81 Silk.  Good condition, the box remains sturdy though exhibiting wear, the gold leaf printing having faded in places at the front of the box.
