Early NFL program produced by the Providence Steam Roller football team, which had a six-year NFL run between 1925 and 1931, winning the championship in 1928. Coached by quarterback Jimmy Conzelman (HOF), the Steam Roller faced off against the Pottsville Maroons, in their third season. The Maroons would win the game by a 6-3 margin. Official program is unscored, folded at one point into quarters resulting in two long creases throughout. Interior pages are mildly toned by intact. Overall grade is FAIR, but with stronger eye appeal, the heavyweight stock of the cover protecting the piece from significant damage.
