Original photo picturing Philadelphia Eagles owner Bert Bell, measuring approximately 9" x 7" but with a slight irregular cut implying it was trimmed from a larger piece.  The photo has been captioned twice with two inscriptions by Bell, the first reading "First Sunday Football Game Nov 12 1933" and the second reading "Hope every football player with the Eagles has a fighting heart like yours, Bert Bell."

The reference to a Sunday football game likely refers to Bell's work in eliminating the blue laws in Philadelphia, which was a prerequisite for him being granted an NFL franchise in the city.  The Eagles first home game was the first Sunday football game in the city as the blue laws were repealed.  The photo ostensibly pictures Bell signing the agreement for the first Eagles game.  Bell signed photos are quite desirable, the inscriptions make this example even more so.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
