Forbes Field ticket stub from October 5, 1927, the first game of the World Series.  Though the Series was a four-game sweep by the Yankees over the Pittsburgh Pirates, Game 1 was actually close, a 5-4 Yankees win with the Pirates leaving the tying run on third base in the bottom of the 8th.  Lou Gehrig drove in two runs for the Yankees, and Babe Ruth went 3-for-4.  The stub is in FAIR condition with several creases across the stub, along with some edge and corner wear, and some light stains on the reverse.
