4 1/4" square photo picturing a familiar portrait of Babe Ruth that served as the source image for Ruth’s 1961 Fleer #75 card. Clearly trimmed from a wider photo with significant masking agent and editorial notes and markings throughout.  Ruth's face is clean and unblemished, though the remainder of the photo has significant evidence of use by the publication from which it emanates.  A date stamp of 1948 appears on the reverse, with significant other markings blacked out or otherwise obscured.  An intriguing, expressive image of Ruth, authenticated and encapsulated as Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
