Measuring 9" x 7", clean promotional photo featuring Muhammad Ali and opponent Ernie Terrell in trunks with gloves. The two prizefighters met on February 6, 1867, the fight lasting all 15 rounds, Ali winning by unanimous decision. The fact that the fight went the distance is somewhat of a misnomer, however, as this is somewhat of an infamous match.
Muhammad Ali changed his name from Cassius Clay upon converting to Islam in 1964. During a pre-fight interview on ABC, Terrell called Ali Cassius Clay, which caused Ali to take offense.

During the fight, Ali closed Terrell's eye in the second round, but by the eighth, the result of the fight was fairly clear, Ali was taunting Terrell in the ring, repeatedly asking "What's my name?". Many viewed Ali's performance as unsportsmanlike, stating that he dragged the fight out to hurt and embarrass Terrell when he could have knocked him out. The fight has become legend due to the phrase "What's my name?"
The photo shows both fighters, arms crossed, pensive in nature. Condition appears excellent, a significant photo in the legend of the champ. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
