Spectacular 8" x 10" portrait photo of the great Bob Gibson, taken in the Cardinals clubhouse after winning Game 7 of the 1964 World Series.  Gibson was a workhorse, pitching a complete game in Game 7, giving up 5 runs but the game was not as close as the 7-5 final seemed, as the Yankees scored two runs in the 9th to get close, on solo shots by Clete Boyer and Phil Linz, but had no baserunners and were not threatening at the end of the game.  Gibson pitched an astonishing three complete games in the Series, winning two and losing one, striking out 31 in 27 innings of work.  In this photo, the Series hero (who won the World Series MVP) clutches a bottle of well-deserved champagne.  Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
