Official program for the very first game in the series between Navy and Notre Dame, played at Baltimore Stadium on October 15, 1927. Notre Dame would win the contest, 19-6. The contest is the longest uninterrupted intersectional rivalry in college football, and has been played annually each year since this game with the exception of the 2020 game, which was cancelled due to Covid. The program is in FAIR condition, well-worn with creasing throughout, and discoloration around all four edges of the front and back cover. A small corner clip of paper loss on the back cover can be observed at the bottom left. The interior pages are all intact, the binding strong, an excellent program despite the obvious condition issues.
