Lot Description  

Attractive pair of Yankee Stadium full tickets, including what appears to be a proof, for the 1950 World Series between the Yankees and the Philadelphia "Whiz Kid" Phillies.  Collection includes the following:  1) Game 4 Ticket: Deciding game, the final game of a four-game sweep for the Yankees.  The Yankees would win this game, 5-2, a Whitey Ford victory with a Yogi Berra home run.  Ticket is in VG/EX condition with some mild edge wear.  2) Game 5 (Phantom) Ticket Proof: Though no Game 5 was played, the ticket does not include any row and seat information, leading us to believe this is not a phantom but a proof ticket.  VG/EX condition with light edge wear.  Two tickets total.
