Attractive pair of ticket stubs to the 1926 World Series, both games played at Sportsman's Park between the Yankees and Cardinals, and including Babe Ruth's legendary three home run game. The collection includes the following: 1) Game 4 Stub: Played October 6, a 10-5 Yankees rout saw Babe Ruth hitting three home runs and driving in four runs. The stub is in POOR condition with wrinkling and creasing throughout, though the darker color of the paper stock obscures most of the creasing and results in a strong presentation. 2) Game 5 Stub: Played October 7, a 3-2 extra inning victory for the Yankees that put them ahead in the Series, three games to two. A complete game for both Herb Pennock and Bill Sherdel, the Yankees won it on a Tony Lazzeri sacrifice fly that plated Mark Koenig. Stub appears in VG condition with light wear throughout. Two stubs total.
