Game 4 of the 1926 World Series saw the Yankees behind the St. Louis Cardinals, two games to one.  Hall of Famer Waite Hoyt took the hill for the Yankees, Flint Rhem for the Cardinals, and Rhem (and four other pitchers from the Cardinals pen) were clearly outmatched by the Yankees on that day, as the Yankees cruised to a 10-5 win.  Although Hoyt gave up 14 Cardinal hits - the same total as the Yankees - he managed to keep the ball in the park, while Cardinal pitchers allowed three home runs to Babe Ruth, one in each at bat, setting the record for most home runs in a World Series game.  Ruth would tie his own records two years later.  In nearly a century since, only three more players have hit three home runs in a single World Series game - Reggie Jackson in 1977, Albert Pujols in 2022, and Pablo Sandoval in 2012.  

This stub from that game has been graded PR 1 by PSA, due to overall wear, with heavy creasing throughout, and some paper loss on the reverse.  Still, the stub presents well, very display-worthy despite the grade. An exceptional ticket, an important milestone game, the date the record was set for most home runs in a single World Series game - a record that has yet to be bested.
